About the Owner
Laura Davis is the owner and operator of First Lady Beauty Shoppe. Laura graduated from Farrah’s Beauty School in 1975. After moving to Sumter in 1976, she became an employee of our beauty salon.
She purchased First Lady Beauty Shoppe in 1981. Since then, she’s furthered her education in Cosmetology, and takes advantage of other continual education opportunities every year.
Laura has lived in the Sumter community since 1976. She is married and is the proud parent of three children and grandparent to five grandchildren. She is also a member of the Shaw Heights Baptist Church.

Laura became an Avon representative in 2007.
Since then, our beauty salon has carried samples of our favorite Avon makeup and hair care items.
